Andrew Brown

As a Program Assistant at the Meyer Foundation, Andrew Brown provides administrative support to the Grants Manager and coordinates meetings in the Community Conference Room. Mr. Brown also manages the front desk area where he performs receptionist duties.

Andrew holds a bachelor's degree in Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness from Virginia Commonwealth University. His interest in strengthening community-based organizations began when he studied the negative impacts of natural and man-made disasters on low-income communities. Andrew currently volunteers with an outreach program that provides meals and other necessities to homeless people and families in the District.
