Maegan Scott

Program and Communications Coordinator

As program and communications coordinator, Maegan works in partnership with the senior program officers and the vice president for programs and communications to support Meyer's Management Assistance and Benevon programs. She serves as a resource to grantees on management and leadership issues, and is the primary contact for consultants who work with the Foundation's grantees. She also manages the Foundation's website, eNews, and social media work.

Prior to joining Meyer in 2008, Maegan was the executive assistant at the Center for Understanding Equity, an education consulting firm dedicated to closing the achievement gap in schools. An avid volunteer throughout her community and abroad, Maegan has devoted much of her time working with nonprofit organizations over the past several years. She currently serves on the boards of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Washington DC and Art Enables. You can often find her at Miriam's Kitchen writing with the guests during Miriam's Studio. She holds a bachelor's degree from American University.
