Maegan Scott provides support in all aspects of the Foundation’s grantmaking and communications, including serving as the coordinator of the Management Assistance Program. She supports the Foundation's communications work by managing the website, production of the e-newsletter, and other social media efforts.

Prior to joining the Meyer Foundation in 2008, Maegan was the executive assistant at the Center for Understanding Equity, an education consulting firm dedicated to closing the achievement gap in schools. An avid volunteer throughout her community and abroad, Maegan has devoted much of her time working with nonprofit organizations over the past several years. In 2011, she joined the board of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Washington DC, an organization that works to advance the careers of young professionals to strengthen the nonprofit sector, and currently serves as Treasurer. She holds a bachelor's degree from American University.
